Our technologies began with rubber-coated fabric techniques, and we now have over 100 years of accumulated technical experience in seven business areas.
From industrial materials to carbon shafts for golf clubs, our technologies are found in many areas of everyday life. Our corporate brand, FUJIKURA COMPOSITES, embodies this combination of technologies, the manifestation of synergy, constant venturing into new business areas, and creation of new technologies.

A new Engineering Center was built at our Iwatsuki factory on January 18, 2011. As part of our corporate restructuring, the 120 engineers who worked across three Japanese factories were brought together in this center. This gave new impetus to sharing technical information, combining different technologies and advanced commercialization by speeding up developments.
We are committed to developing products that protect the environment. Our goal is to combine our accumulated experience in automotive technology and carbon shaft technology to commercialize carbon fiber–reinforced resin for applications beyond the sporting arena.
